LionsHead Investment Group is led by its general partners, Michael Conroy and Bryan Zeig.
Michael has been an active professional in the construction industry for some three decades in California, Hawaii, and for the last eight years in Florida. His breadth of experience includes large institutional projects as well as innumerable commercial, residential, and multi-family projects. For many years, as a forensic expert, Michael has been the President and General Manager of University Corners, LLC. His work on this project commenced with his innovative vision of a 'new urbanist' infill development, which would combine high-end urban living with upscale retail shops, dining, and recreation. His roles have been varied and extensive in making this vision a reality. He has seen the project through land acquisition, tenant negotiations, entitlements, and the marketing of both the commercial and residential space. At $186.0 Million, University Corners, upon completion will represent the largest private undertaking in Alachua County.
Bryan's academic excellance and professional experience demonstrate his potential in the real estate industry through his integrity and managerial ability. His architectural education, in which he earned a Bachelor of Design in Architecture at the University of Florida Summa Cum Laude, as well as time spent in an architecture office, has afforded him a unique perspective of both the building construction and real estate industries. As a manager of the University Corners project, the previously mentioned major mixed-use project that is considered to be a significant transformational project to the City of Gainesville, Florida and of regional prominence, he gained a working familiarity of the financial aspects of a development project, as well as demographics, marketing, and permitting procedures. Bryan was responsible for the creation of project costs, revenues, valuations, and pro forma documents, and gained experience in meeting with city commissioners, plan boards, architectural/engineering firms, commercial and residential realtors and brokers, and various types of building, design, and financial consultants. He also participated in land acquisition procedures as well as tenant buyouts and relocation. This experience has helped shape his career to date and will enable him to successfully oversee future projects to their highest and best uses.
